We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to serve as the connective tissue between our Linux infrastructure and application development teams — building the tools, pipelines, and processes that let engineers ship better software, faster.
What You’ll Do in This Role
- Serve as the primary interface between the Linux infrastructure team and application development teams
- Build and maintain tools to manage and automate deployment activities
- Enforce role separation between development and administration work
- Maintain standard servers and services for application development teams
- Support and administer CI/CD and monitoring tools including Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nagios
- Manage COTS tools that support development workflows (e.g. JIRA)
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong Linux administration experience
- Hands-on DevOps experience including building, deploying, and operating software
- Broad understanding of DevOps tools and technologies
- Experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools (e.g. Chef, Nagios, Ansible, Salt)
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
- Clear communication skills; comfortable working across development and infrastructure teams
Additional Strengths That Stand Out
- Familiarity with continuous monitoring tools and practices
- Development experience in Java, C, C++, or similar languages
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and/or SonarQube
