We’re growing our cloud engineering team and are looking for engineers across multiple experience levels who can own the infrastructure layer, drive cloud-native adoption, and hold a high bar for security and operational rigor.
What You’ll Do in This Role
Design and implement cloud-native architectures for data ingestion, processing, storage, and delivery
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code configurations for consistent, auditable deployments
Define and enforce cloud security best practices including IAM, encryption, VPC configuration, and least-privilege access
Collaborate with data and backend engineering teams to integrate cloud services end-to-end
Monitor system health, optimize cost and performance, and support incident response
Maintain clear documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and operational runbooks
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud, Microsoft Azure Government, or an equivalent accredited government cloud environment
Proficiency with Infrastructure as IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
Container orchestration experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker
Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals including IAM, VPC, encryption, and secrets management
Software development fundamentals in Python and/or Java; RESTful API experience
Clear communication skills in collaborative engineering environments
Additional Strengths That Stand Out
Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Data Engineer, or Microsoft Azure equivalent)
Experience with cloud-native data services such as Glue, S3, Kinesis, Synapse, or Data Factory
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices in a classified environment
Experience with ATO processes and STIG requirements for cloud deployments
