What You’ll Do in This Role
Design and develop backend services and data processing pipelines using modern configuration management and software engineering practices
Build and maintain APIs and services supporting data ingest, processing, storage, and delivery
Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms
Troubleshoot complex problems and provide technical support for software and application issues
Recommend and implement improvements to system performance, reliability, and maintainability
Collaborate with other engineers on the team to sustain and advance the organization’s technical capabilities
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work/military experience
5+ years of professional software development experience
Hands-on experience with modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Experience building APIs and services using REST and related web technologies
Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
Experience with Linux (preferred) or Windows operating systems
Familiarity with Git or other source control tools
Clear communication skills; comfortable working in a small, collaborative team
Additional Strengths That Stand Out
Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or MapReduce
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
DevOps experience building and deploying infrastructure with tools like Ansible, Jenkins, or CloudFormation
Experience with ElasticSearch, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, or NiFi
Prior experience supporting IC or DoD mission environments
