We’re growing our data engineering team and are looking for ETL-focused engineers across multiple experience levels who take real ownership of the data lifecycle — from ingest through delivery — and communicate clearly about architecture tradeoffs.
What You’ll Do in This Role
- Build responsive, accessible applications using React or Angular
- Translate mission and user requirements into intuitive UI solutions
- Integrate frontend systems with APIs and real-time data
- Develop reusable component libraries and shared UI patterns
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions
- Improve performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers, analysts, and mission users
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical background)
- Strong fluency in React or Angular, with proficiency in TypeScript
- Experience with, or knowledge of, the Spring Framework
- Experience with, or knowledge of, SQL and ORM libraries such as Hibernate/JPA)
- Solid grounding in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, including responsive/mobile-first design
- Comfort working with REST-based services
- Experience writing unit and integration tests (Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent) and familiarity with modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack, npm/yarn)
- Familiarity navigating Git-based team workflows
- Clear communication skills in collaborative engineering environments
Additional Strengths That Stand Out
- End-to-end testing experience with Cypress or Playwright
- Contributions to data visualization interfaces or dashboards (D3.js, Recharts, or similar) and familiarity with the ELK stack
- Familiarity with GraphQL and/or WebSocket-based real-time data
- Exposure to cloud deployment pipelines and CI/CD practices (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Experience with containerized development environments (Docker)
- Working knowledge of Section 508 or WCAG 2.1 accessibility expectations
- Time supporting cleared mission or federal program environments
